Play My Way is a Speech Pathology practice on Brisbane’s Northside that supports the development of listening and communication skills in children from 18 months to 10 years. We support children with all types of speech and language challenges. We also offer specialist services for children with hearing loss.
Services We Offer
Emma, saw my son Herbert after we’d noticed he had challenges pronouncing a few sounds. In our first session, Emma quickly identified the sounds to work on. She explained her plan for the next few sessions which was very reassuring. As a mum herself, Emma understood our busy, time poor lives and I really appreciated her flexible approach and simple strategies for practice at home. Emma has a lovely, warm personality and had creative and fun activities my son really engaged with. He looked forward to his sessions every week, even reminding us he needed to do his “homework”. We’ve seen a significant improvement in only three weeks and Herbie’s now able to correctly pronounce some names that are important to our family, which has been really rewarding.
